Online Check-in For Norwegian Cruise Line

 

This is a VERY important step in preparing for your cruise, and we strongly recommend completing it as soon as check-in opens to secure the best arrival times at the port and avoid delays.

⚠️ VERY IMPORTANT – READ THIS FIRST. 

If you have NOT already created your Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) online account, you MUST do that now.

When creating your NCL account, you MUST use the SAME EMAIL ADDRESS you used when you signed up for your cruise with us.

This is extremely important because your reservation in Norwegian Cruise Line’s system is tied to that specific email address.

If you use a different email address, NCL may create a brand-new account that is NOT connected to your reservation. Fixing this can take up to a week, which can create unnecessary stress and delays.

✅ Use the same email address you originally booked your cruise with.

Why This Matters: Norwegian Cruise Line has added new health, safety, and embarkation steps to the Online Check-In process that significantly speed up boarding at the pier.

Completing everything ahead of time means:
✔ Faster check-in at the port
✔ Less waiting in long lines
✔ A smoother boarding experience
✔ Access to your eDocs (boarding passes)

IMPORTANT:
Port security requires each guest to present their eDocs (boarding pass) in order to enter the cruise terminal.

You will lose the opportunity to complete Online Check-In 3 days prior to sailing, so please do not wait!

Complete These Steps Starting 21 Days Before Sailing.

Once check-in opens, log into your NCL account and complete the following:

1. Travel Documentation
Enter your passport information or other required travel documentation.

2. Flight Information
Add your airline details if applicable.
This is also where you can purchase NCL transfers between the airport and cruise terminal if needed.

3. Onboard Payment Setup
Choose your onboard payment method:

• Credit Card
• Debit Card
• Cash

4. Take Your Security Photo (Selfie)

Upload your pre-cruise security photo using:

• Your computer webcam
  OR
• Your mobile phone camera through the NCL App

5. Reserve Your Port Arrival Time

This is VERY important.
You will only be allowed to enter the cruise terminal during your selected arrival window, so earlier check-in usually means better time slot choices.

6. Watch the Required Safety Video

Complete the mandatory safety video before sailing to avoid large crowd gatherings onboard and speed up your embarkation process.
This includes:

• Muster drill instructions
• Life jacket information
• General onboard safety procedures
